PV Plant Control and Monitoring by means of Unmanned Aerial Systems<\/strong> This approach may be useful for energy management procedures also in other energy systems aiming at develop a reliable,
PV plants operation often face low technical standards and lack of accuracy in O&M activities.
The purpose of this research stream is to design expert systems that, based on the image integration
obtained by means of multi-sensor Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), are able to identify and classify defects
in PV modules to analyze overall plant performance and the potential impact of these defects from a power and
productivity point of view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
