The solar assisted solar heat pump testing has started in coincidence with the winter period in Italy (December 2016). Two different prototypes based on commercially available heat pump and PVT modules (http://www.solink.it/) as well as prototypes of heat pump and PVT are evaluated. Test are still going on but results seems promising demonstrating higher COP than conventional air heat pumps together with higher PV module power factor.
